Thanks for your comments on my blog Meg. I think you have the piece the right way up as its the brown which is really adding the "weight" to it, to say "this is down". I think it looks very painterly!

Meg, I think you have done right! I (see) a landscape. the greens and olives in the bottome look like an earthen path, in the upper right corner, there is a bright spot that could be a window, maybe a cabin in the mist? Hope you feel better. And the Workbook is fun. Rene

Hello fellow first time blogger, it was the TIF challenge which spurred me on to get a blog together and I'm certainly enjoying it thus far.
I think the TIF piece you are working on is very tropical and jungle like will come back to see it from time to time.

Hi Meg - Thanks for dropping by my blog! I have read your TIF progress with interest - I love the way everyone approaches the challenge differently! Your fabric background is coming along beautifully and I definitely agree with you that it looks right turned upside down - I think it is the heavier colour in the larger olive piece that needs to be in the lower half. Will be very interested to see what you do next!
